Suwalif Tea was founded in 2017 by Maher Al Mahfoodh from a simple passion for tea and a vision to create a natural tea brand that focuses on quality and authentic taste.
Coming from a family with over 60 years of experience in various businesses including the food trade, the brand was built on strong values of trust, quality, and long-term business relationships. What started as a hobby soon developed into a serious business project aimed at providing natural tea products free from artificial colors and flavors.
The name “Suwalif” reflects tradition, conversations, and the culture of sharing tea moments — an important part of hospitality in the region.
Today, Suwalif Tea is growing as a Bahrain-based tea brand targeting hotels, cafés, and retail markets, with a future vision of expanding into GCC and international markets.
